After a very successful solo presentation at VOLTA NY with Cuevas Tilleard, artist Sebastian Vallejo will celebrate his first solo museum exhibition at the Arsenal de la Marina Española in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Paramnesia runs from April 21, 2016 through August 27, 2016, and is supported by the Visual Arts Program of the Puerto Rico Culture Institute.

The large-scale exhibition offers a glimpse into Vallejo's fascinating and prolific career. Paramnesia consists of works from the following series: Malegría, Caribbean Beat, Lüx, Salvoconducto, Taquicardia, Methodic Chaos and Dirge & Rivulets. "These works possess, as a unifying concept, the relationship between beauty and chaos, system and disorder, anxiety, nostalgia and memory," says El Museo del Barrio's Sofia Reeser
