Love the Memphis Group? Take in 'Ettore Sottsass: Design Radical' at the Met Breuer.

The Met Breuer presents 'Ettore Sottsass: Design Radical,' an exhibition of the work of the Italian architect, designer, and founder of the Memphis Group.

The Met Breuer is currently showcasing Ettore Sottsass: Design Radical, an exhibition of the work of the Italian architect, designer, and founder of the Memphis Group. Sottsass designed modern, functional pieces such as sofas and shelving, before moving on to functional abstraction. Pieces in a large variety of media including machines, ceramics, glass, jewelry, textiles, painting, and photography will be on display along with some of his original writings. Through October 8, 2017.
