Ian Schrager, co-founder of Studio 54, has published the first official book about his infamous club. Studio 54 (Rizzoli) is filled with never-before-seen photos and personal stories from the wildest on-going party of all time. Everyone from Gilda Radner and Bill Murray, to Teddy Pendergrass and Stevie Wonder lent their star-power to this fabled nightspot, which became a cultural landmark from the moment it opened in 1977. Says music impresario David Geffen, "It rose to the top of the pleasure dome at a time when sex, drugs, and rock and roll seemed safe. It was quite a wonderland."
