Zaha Hadid's Futuristic NYC Building

The eagerly anticipated 520 West 28th Street by Zaha Hadid is finally complete.

The eagerly anticipated 520 West 28th Street by Zaha Hadid is finally complete. The futuristic building fronts the High Line, adding heft to the already impressive array of unorthodox buildings created by the bold-faced names of architecture. Iraqi-born Hadid—who's unexpected passing last year at the age of 65 left a gaping hole in the starchitecture firmament—is known for her structures enveloped by voluptuous curves and exploding geometry. The Related Companies has announced that the ground floor of the building will house 15 art galleries, with the prestigious Paul Kasmin Gallery as the anchor tenant.
