Peter Pennoyer is the principal partner of an award-winning 60-member firm that practices traditional and classical architecture for clients worldwide. Pennoyer has co-authored four books with Anne Walker on American architectural history and is an adjunct professor in the Architecture and Urban Studies Program at New York University. He is a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects and is on Architectural Digest’s AD100 list. The firm’s latest book, A House in the Country, on Pennoyer and his wife, interior decorator Katie Ridder’s home in Millbrook, comes out in September 2016. In addition, Pennoyer is at work on a house for a collector of contemporary art, influenced by Czech Cubism, as well as a new house in Newport, RI.
