Robert Couturier quickly established his own practice, which has been recognized in Architectural Digest’s prestigious annual list of the best decorators and architectural firms. From the re-conception, execution, and continuous embellishment of financier Sir James Goldsmith’s 20,000-acre kingdom in Mexico, La Loma, as well as his Boeing 757, his Manhattan townhouse, and his French chateau, Couturier also works with prominent clients such as Anne Hearst and Jay McInerney. Couturier has contributed to architecture and design books and is currently working on his first tome. In addition, his new projects include the Presidential Suite for Ty Warner’s Cabo San Lucas resort Las Ventanas al Paraíso and a 100,000-square-foot palace in Baku, Azerbaijan.
