Establishing his firm in 1992 after working with Robert Venturi and Robert A.M. Stern, William T. Georgis gained a sterling reputation for his respectful restoration of the iconic interiors of Manhattan’s Lever House and for an elegant style that graces a myriad of townhouse and pied-à-terre interiors. Eclectic, eccentric, and sometimes infused with a wicked—but thoughtful—sense of humor, Georgis’s work is driven by his extensive knowledge of art, architecture, and the decorative arts. Georgis penned his 2013 monograph, Make it Fabulous (Monacelli Press); he recently completed The Grill at the Four Seasons restaurant, as well as the pool at the Seagrams Building, and a residence in La Jolla, California.
