Over the last 30 years, Jeffrey Beers’ work has set a new standard for the field of hospitality design by creating gathering spaces that transcend trends. Beers studied architecture at the Rhode Island School of Design, including lessons with renowned glass artist Dale Chihuly, followed by an IIE/Fulbright scholarship in Brazil, where he worked with the celebrated Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer. Beers joined the New York office of preeminent architect I.M Pei, helping to develop the design for the acclaimed Raffles City complex in Singapore. In 1986, he founded his own firm and in 2000 Jeffrey was inducted into Hospitality Design’s Platinum Circle. At present, the firm is at work on the new Atlantis property in Hainan, China as well as a number of buildings in New York, including One West End and 281 Fifth Avenue.
